This is our recommendation of making your own Healthy Baked Sweet Potato Chips. Trans-fat-free, gluten-free and sugar-free. All you need are the following ingredients.

  • 2 Sweet Potatoes

  • Salt

  • Rosemary

  • Coconut Fat (alternative: Ghee)

▷ Equipment:

  • cutting board

  • chef's knife or mandolin

  • 1 to 3 baking sheets with baking paper


Preparation time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 2 x 20 minutes at 190ºC / 370ºF

▶︎ Step 1: Slice & bake the sweet potato

1 - cut both ends of the sweet potatoes (00:16)
2 - use a Mandoline slicer or a sharp knife to cut thin slices (be careful when cutting the slices!) (00:24)

3 - prepare 2 - 3 baking sheets as you will need enough space to bake the sweet potatoes chips. (01:10)
4 - add coconut oil (you can also use butter or ghee) (01:23)
5 - add a pinch of salt (recommendation: a sea salt) (01:34)
6 - add a pinch of rosemary (01:42)

7 - bake one side for 20 mins. at 190ºC / 370ºF (01:50)
8 - flip sides with a fork or tablespoon (01:58)
9 - bake the other side for 20 mins. at 190ºC / 370ºF (02:05)
